Anyone see the clip of the kid who the cop tazered for 37 seconds, and the kid died?

More and more cops are going to be armed with this "unleathel" weapon, which will be improperly used when "anger" replaces training.

This isn't the first kid to be tasered or to die from one. I don't think tasers should be used on anyone especially kids.

According to the article, 180 people have died from being tasered in the last 22 years. Just over 8 deaths annually from a non-lethal weapon. Someone should tell those 180 people they're not dead.

Yeah, I like the "combative" comment in the article.

When I was tazered three times by the cops, the officer had told me to turn around facing away from them and put my hands behind my back for cuffing. I did so and clasped them because I am heavy and could not keep my wrists together. When the officer told me to unclasp them, my hands came apart and I felt the cop move and he "yelled he is resisting arrest". Tasered three times, assaulted and maced. Girlfriend who I had just brought from the hospital had to hitchhike ten miles home.

Should have been on the CVS store video. Fucking attorney told me I had "rights" before I paid, afterwards he was multiprocessing three cases and told me that I was guilty. He had not bothered with the store video that would have refuted the lies on the report, status of the case or even the missing witnesses. But the prosecutor did get me a guilty deal, while my attorney was playing I talked to him.

This was funny, with nothing being said except the deal, the Judge went on a five minute rant against the prosecutor about the leniency of the deal. That I should spend a year and a half in jail vs. the two weeks. I had gone into that court expecting professionals, an accurate rendition of events and that the incident had been a misunderstanding. These are not professionals, they are thugs in uniform, supported by an infected infrastructure.

Then the cops tried to steal my Federal Identification card, they were documenting my possessions, contents of my wallet but they skipped the card. The booking officer looked at me and I told him that I am not signing that paper till it is identified as being my possession.

Virginia State Bar told me that they do not address strategy - but I could hire another, they told me that it was strategy. So I tried to obtain the CVS store video from corporate, first they did not respond to the question, then in a follow up correspondence they said that they would not provide it.

Prince William County Virginia is one messed up region. Governor Tim Kaine's office responded that my problems were local problems - you do not want this individual as VP. Every time I think better of him I pull out my letters to his office and my "representative". Corruption runs deep...

Yes, I do my part to give Virginia "Name" recognition....

I stood there and took it. When they hit me in the chest I looked at the fuckers and asked them if they were finished. I was annoyed so I grabbed the electrodes, pulled them out of my chest and broke their toy. They got another and did the same, I did the same, three times. You should have seen their expressions "duh" - unprofessional fucks.

After playing with their toy tasers, the fucker attacked me with his little stick. He hit me so hard his stick flew out of his hand. He was between me and the others. He then turned his back to me, bent over to retrieve his toy, at my right hand I had a steel pole, his gun was next to my left hand, I looked at the others and shook my head. When he recovered he slammed me into the display, held me as they maced my face, he got pissed because he got maced too.

They finally got me down, but I could not breathe, when I moved they hit me, I was suffocating with the mace. Something damaged my retina, to this day my visual acuity is not right.

If one has played with yellow jackets one can play with tasers - no difference, just control the pain.

This is the reason I wanted that Fucking store video - fucking cops, attorneys and judges.....

Whatever, they emptied a canister of some chemical crap in my face, it damaged my retina.....

A thug is a thug, of course the thugs ensured that no witnesses or evidence went to court, good police work, way to go.

I remember looking at that cops back when he dropped his little stick, seeing the gun, pole, his cohorts and thinking, geez. Human shield and weapon, turning ones back on a threat - pitiful. The expression on those thugs faces when I pulled their toy out of my chest. Priceless - but you will not see the video because CVS made it disappear, they denied my request.

Spousal, controlled substance abusers and bullies. Cops parties are over the top, drugs, noise - dont tell them to be quiet. This one was in charge of a department, some parties they were running naked around our community (too many donuts, chubs running around), their significant other was distributing, fucker tried to frame us (called them up and told them that it did not work we destroyed it) and the last I knew they were promoted and in charge of a State's law enforcement department.

Cops are the enemy, do not say a thing to them, anything, that was my mistake, I asked "why", the reason that I was cornered in the store. The more one tries to explain the more they misconstrue. They can trace tags and licenses, after I was assaulted in that CVS store I was afraid that the thug would follow me home - after I got out of jail I kept looking out the windows.

I notice, when potential jurors are questioned, they are asked if they'd give more credibility to the testimony of a cop, because he is a cop.

They never ask if you'd give the cop less credibility, which I would.

This is a new "dangerous" situation. The cops apparently believe the taser is harmless; at least not fatal. Obviously, it's not as non lethal as they think.

We need those that choose to be police, the problem is that they need oversight.

I should not be able to say that I was framed, assaulted by the police in a store with camera's throughout. That witnesses and evidence was not used. That my attorney stated that such things were irrelevant in the courts, when he appeared. I should not be able to say that the judge was prejudiced in my case, when they went on a five minute rant against the prosecution about the "deal", without hearing the case. When I wrote to the Police Chief, Mayor and the paper that published our names and address - they had the authority to order that the CVS store give up the video, they did not respond. This would be done to ensure effective service to the community and that they do not have a rogue group of cops in their midst. They chose not to address so I can keep making these claims. Such is the diligence of the authorities.

From the avoidance in our case I suspect that ours is not the only situation, others have been presumed guilty. We have been informed of our stupidity, threatened and need of psychological counseling (we have that, the doctors just shake their heads).

As for the taser anytime one is physically accosted there is risk of an "event". The concern is that the authorities are covering up suspicious activities and no one knows the depth of this failure because the metric is buried.

These people have no idea of how competently an individual is represented. This avoidance was observed with the Virginia State Bar when they dismiss failed representation as "strategy", suggests that one get another member and try to deal with two issues, the original and the malpractice. In our case we could not afford to address our issues, neither can we have confidence in Virginia's population of attorneys, they have no incentive to represent us competently.
